Sufi songs have been a part of Bollywood for a long time for now. Many songs have been successful in settling in the hearts of the listener. Songs like ‚¬"Maula Mere Maula‚¬ by Roop Kumar Rathod, A.R Rehman's ‚¬"Tere Bina‚¬ from the movie GURU, or be ‚¬"Yaa Ali‚¬ from the movie GANGSTER have touched the listeners of all ages and class. The songs have been detrimental not only for the success of the movie, but also for the Sufi singers .

Bollywood is credited for popularising Sufi Music but also drove the controversy of commercializing this form of purest music.A proper balance must be maintained between the purest and commercial approaches. Changes do occur in each and every art and Sufism is not an exception. There is no end to this debate, but the bottom-line is this music is still winning everybody's heart.
